A Plan Built Around Your Needs
No two patients come to Maple Medical with the exact same concern, history, or goals. A treatment that makes sense for one person may not be the right fit for another.
Your plan may include PRP therapy, Cell Therapy: MFAT & BMAC, EMTT and shockwave therapy, Tenex, TenJet, Sonex carpal tunnel release, image-guided procedures, physical therapy coordination, at-home red light therapy, follow-up care, or maintenance recommendations.
The recommendation depends on your condition, symptoms, prior care, medical history, imaging history, activity level, and goals.
Our goal is to help you understand not only what treatment may be recommended, but why it may be appropriate and how it fits into a broader recovery plan.
Step 1: Understand Your Needs
Your care begins with a detailed conversation.
Dr. Blatz takes time to understand your symptoms, how long they have been present, what you have already tried, and what you want to get back to doing. That may include walking, hiking, golfing, running, skiing, strength training, working, sleeping comfortably, traveling, or simply moving through daily life with more confidence.
This step helps create a clearer picture of your condition and priorities before treatment options are discussed.
Helpful information may include:
- Recent imaging or reports
- Notes from previous treatment
- Physical therapy records
- A list of prior injections, procedures, or therapies
- Current medications
- Your activity goals
- Questions or concerns about treatment
Step 2: Create a Personalized Care Plan
After learning more about your symptoms and goals, Dr. Blatz will discuss which treatment options may be appropriate.
Your plan may include one therapy or a combination of approaches. Depending on your evaluation, options may include:
- PRP therapy using platelet-rich plasma from your own blood
- Cell Therapy: MFAT & BMAC using biologic material from your own body
- EMTT and shockwave therapy for certain tendon, soft tissue, joint, or recovery-related concerns
- Tenex or TenJet for select chronic tendon injuries
- Sonex carpal tunnel release for appropriate patients with carpal tunnel syndrome
- High-resolution ultrasound imaging or image-guided care when appropriate
- Physical therapy coordination
- At-home red light therapy when appropriate
- Follow-up care or maintenance recommendations
The goal is not to create a generic treatment menu. The goal is to build a plan that makes sense for your specific condition and long-term function.
Step 3: Support Recovery Through Collaboration
Recovery often involves more than a single treatment visit.
Depending on your needs, Maple Medical may coordinate with physical therapists or other providers as part of your care plan. This can be especially helpful when strength, mobility, movement patterns, load tolerance, or gradual return to activity are part of the recovery process.
Your plan may also include activity guidance, follow-up visits, at-home support, or recommendations to help you better understand how to care for the treated area after your appointment.
This collaborative approach helps connect the treatment itself with the larger goal: helping you move, function, and return to daily life with a clearer plan.
Step 4: Follow Up and Plan for Long-Term Function
Your care does not necessarily end once treatment is complete.
For many patients, follow-up care is an important part of understanding progress, answering questions, adjusting activity guidance, and determining whether additional support may be helpful.
Some patients may need a short-term recovery plan. Others may benefit from maintenance recommendations or longer-term monitoring, depending on the condition and treatment provided.
At Maple Medical, follow-up is part of the larger commitment to thoughtful, personalized care.
Treatment Planning With Clear Expectations
Regenerative medicine can feel confusing, especially when patients are researching PRP therapy, cell therapy, shockwave therapy, EMTT, Tenex, TenJet, Sonex, or other options online.
At Maple Medical, Dr. Blatz explains what each treatment is designed to do, why it may or may not fit your condition, and what expectations should be realistic before moving forward.
Not every patient is a candidate for every treatment. If a Maple Medical treatment is not the right fit, Dr. Blatz will guide you honestly and help you understand what next steps may make more sense.
Costs and Insurance
Many regenerative medicine treatments are not covered by insurance. If treatment is recommended, the Maple Medical team will review expected costs before treatment begins.
The goal is to help you make an informed decision with a clear understanding of the recommended plan, preparation, costs, and follow-up guidance.
