Community Members,
I am excited to officially welcome you to Maple Medical, a space where innovation and compassion come together to provide personalized, regenerative care. Opening this clinic has been a long-held dream, and I am thrilled to bring it to life here in the heart of Lake Oswego. At Maple Medical, my focus is on helping people regain their health, vitality, and quality of life through advanced regenerative and energy-based therapies.
As many of you know, my wife, Julie, and I, along with our two daughters, have made Oregon—and specifically Lake Oswego—our home. We have fallen in love with this area’s natural beauty and the warmth of its community. Maple Medical is an extension of that connection—a way for me to give back to this incredible community by offering care that prioritizes empowerment, restoration, and true healing.
At Maple Medical, my mission is simple: to combine cutting-edge therapies with a patient-first approach. Whether through advanced regenerative treatments or innovative energy-based modalities, I strive to create a boutique medical experience that goes beyond symptom relief, helping patients achieve long-lasting wellness.
I am honored to serve this community and grateful for the opportunity to bring my vision of personalized, transformative care to life. Thank you for your support—I look forward to welcoming you to Maple Medical and being a partner in your journey to better health.

Outside the clinic, when Dr. Blatz isn’t lecturing nationally or mentoring the next generation of regenerative medicine physicians, he enjoys exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with his wife and two daughters.
The son of an orthopedic surgeon and a frequently injured athlete, Dr. Blatz brings unique insight and firsthand experience to the field of musculoskeletal health and innovation. During his sports medicine training at Stanford School of Medicine, he developed the diagnostic ultrasound program still in use today for fellowship training.
Since then, Dr. Blatz has been a pioneer in combining orthobiologic therapies with energy-based treatments such as shockwave therapy. He is a founding member of the American Society of Medical Shockwave Treatment and serves on the board of The Orthobiologic Institute.

Outside the clinic, Cole enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son. He’s also an avid comic book collector and has been collecting since childhood.
Cole Parks is the Chief Operating Officer at Maple Medical, where he helps lead the day-to-day operations and long-term planning for the practice. With over 15 years of experience in clinic management and healthcare administration, Cole focuses on building strong relationships, creating efficient systems, and making sure patients receive the best possible care.
Cole’s path into healthcare was inspired by a personal experience—after seeing his father struggle to find the care he needed, Cole was motivated to help create a better, more supportive healthcare experience for others. That journey sparked a lasting passion for patient-centered care and a deep commitment to building systems that truly serve both patients and providers.

Outside the clinic, Annee is likely knee-deep in gardening or camping under the stars with her partner and their dog. Life with her kids is never dull—whether she’s dodging stray soccer, tennis, or lacrosse balls, snowboarding alongside them on the slopes or rooting for them from the sidelines, she’s always in the thick of it.
Annee Burrows is a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 20 years of experience helping patients reduce pain, recover from injury, and reconnect with their bodies. With an extensive understanding of body mechanics and Sports Massage, she provides patient-centered care to support healing and improve mobility.
Since 2022, under the training and guidance of Dr. Blatz, Annee has integrated her skills in therapeutic and orthopedic massage with Shockwave Therapy. With thousands of hours of hands-on experience, she continually refines her techniques to deliver exceptional care. Known for her compassionate approach and gentle touch, Annee tailors each session to support her patients’ long-term wellness goals.

Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find Lexi on the court or the field — coaching volleyball or playing volleyball and softball.
Lexi Thompson is a Medical Assistant and Director of Social Media at Maple Medical. With four years of clinical experience, Lexi assists in all procedures, performs phlebotomy, and processes all the advanced cell therapy treatments. She also leads the clinic’s digital marketing efforts, creating content that reflects both the innovation and heart behind the practice.
She earned her Associate of Science degree while simultaneously completing her phlebotomy certification and is currently completing an Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, with specialty training in musculoskeletal ultrasound under Dr. Blatz.
